Chocolate Ganache

Makes 2 cups

150g Donovans Dark Baking Chocolate, chopped

120g heavy cream


1. Heat the cream on a stove until small bubbles form
2. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and wait for a minute
3. Whisk together until creamy and smooth
4. Wait for it thicken a little before spreading on the cake
5. Put cake in the fridge to set the ganache for 10min
6. This is the fun part! Use a toothpick to create the bark pattern on the side
7. With a paintbrush, use a little black food colouring powder to add detail on the tree trunk
